Art Deco Ceiling Roses
The golden age of Art Deco is generally held to be from 1910 to 1939 but as many periods do, Art Deco styles come back in popularity.
The distinguishing features of the Art Deco style are simple, clean shapes, often with a “streamlined” look; the ornament is relatively simplistic and geometric in shape, usually stylised from a representational form. Hayles and Howe have a standard range of ceiling roses and cornices that are considered of this period particularly (1920’s and 30’s) CE30 Plain spin, HH105 Lattice Cove or HH25, and HH46 Art Deco three step.
