From our experience in restoration and new design projects, we have the skills to create beautifully refined ornamental ceilings from any period. Ornamental Ceilings come in all shapes and sizes and from a wide range of Architectural styles. Hayles and Howe can help architects and designers create accurate, effective designs, which aid simple construction of what is sometimes considered a complicated ceiling.
Our uniquely detailed ceilings can be manufactured from existing moulds, collected over thirty years, or can alternatively be designed, modelled and manufactured from scratch by our expect team. Over the years we have been involved in restoring many exciting, complex and beautiful decorative ceilings to their original glory, including Sherborne Castle, Missenden Abbey, Windsor Castle, Brunel’s SS Great Britain, Appleby Castle and Bridwell Park.
Blackpool Tower Room Proscenium Arch – Case Study
The Hayles and Howe team have worked with the Town Council of Blackpool on numerous venues, one of which The Blackpool Tower Ballroom – now famous due to the Strictly Come Dancing television show. Due to deterioration of the timber and canvas over time, our team carried out extensive repairs within the void behind the plaster work using traditional techniques and materials.
Private Residence – Case Study
Hayles and Howe often work with private residences carrying out all the work from design through to completion. This project involved a beautiful contemporary strapwork ceiling and a domed ceiling. All the work from cad drawings, moulds through to transportation and installation were carried out by our specialist craftsmen.
